This Privacy Policy explains how Cueframe (“Cueframe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Cueframe iOS application and the website at cueframe.iamdev.me.
1. Information Cueframe handles
Content you provide
When you use content planning, idea generation, script generation, or script revision, the directions and text you submit are sent to our service so the requested result can be generated. This may include your niche, audience, tone, title, outline, script, and revision instructions. Do not submit confidential or sensitive personal information that is not necessary for your request.
Recordings and media
Camera recordings, microphone audio, selected background photos or videos, face effects, and exported videos are processed by the app for the features you choose. Cueframe does not upload your camera recording to our content-generation service. Videos are saved to your Photos library only when you ask Cueframe to save them.
Captions
Speech transcription is performed using capabilities provided on your Apple device. Caption text and timing are stored with the related project on your device so you can return to and edit them.
Device and activity information
On app launch, Cueframe sends a pseudonymous device identifier together with the app version, build number, selected language, time zone, operating-system version, device model, and region. We use this information to measure active installations, understand compatibility, and maintain the service. The identifier is stored in Apple Keychain so the same installation can be recognized after reinstalling the app.
Support communications
If you contact us, we receive the information you include in your email, such as your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send.
2. Permissions
Cueframe requests access only when needed for a feature you choose:
- Camera and microphone: to record talking-head videos and narration.
- Photos: to save an exported video or select media you choose to use.
- Speech recognition: to create timed captions from your recording.
- Local network: during development or when configured to connect to a content service on your local network.
You can change permission access at any time in iOS Settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working.
3. How information is used
- Provide ideas, scripts, revisions, recording, captions, effects, and export features.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Cueframe.
- Understand app compatibility and aggregate activity.
- Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Use.
4. Service providers
We use service providers to operate Cueframe, including infrastructure and language-model providers needed to return content-generation results. They process information on our behalf for the requested service. Apple also processes information under its own terms when you use Apple services such as the App Store, Photos, Keychain, and device speech capabilities.
5. Retention
Projects, scripts, caption data, recordings, and effect selections stored by the app remain on your device until you delete the relevant project, reset the recording, remove the app, or otherwise remove the files. Service records are retained only as reasonably necessary to operate, protect, and improve Cueframe, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
6. Sharing and sale
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information may be disclosed to service providers described above, when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Requests between Cueframe and its content services are encrypted in transit and use an encrypted application payload. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Children
Cueframe is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address the request.
9. Your choices and requests
You can edit or delete projects in the app, manage permissions in iOS Settings, and choose what to save or share. To ask about access, correction, or deletion of information associated with Cueframe, email [email protected]. We may need information to verify and complete your request.
10. International use
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Cueframe changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel.
12. Contact
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].
